This is exactly what I wanted - an attractive welcome mat for the inside threshold of my condo. It will also be especially functional when it's wet and snowy out, as it's a thick enough to actually wipe your shoes on effectively. It has a higher pile than most doormats, so you'll want to make sure your door has enough clearance for it to pass over it.
