Good fan, but the Auto Temp leaves something to be desired

vornado.com/homeoverall, this is a good design and seems to be a solidly built fan. I wish it had a built in screen, but few window fans do. The thing that is driving me a little crazy is what happens if the air temp is right at the set point. it switches on and off constantly. I just timed it off for 15 SECONDS, and then back on for 30 seconds. Normally things like this have a couple of degree range so if I set it for 65 deg cooling, it might cut on when the temperature gets above 65, but not cut off until it drops below 63. or even 60. If you don't notice noise changes, it might not be a concern to you, but since I can touch it while at my home office, I had to turn off the auto temperature controls.

vornado.com/homeThis has been a very reliable fan for me to suck smoke from a room. Please make a bigger one twice the size . Love this product.
Alexa app does not have user interface controls for the fan

vornado.com/homeAlexa app does not have user interface controls for the fan. The fan's device page is completely blank. Can't even change the fan's name from "First fan". Outside of the app, voice commands work EXCEPT setting the temperature.
It's ok.

vornado.com/homeIt's beginning to get a little warm in San Diego and I was so excited to try this new fan out. Overall it does what it's supposed to but personally I don't feel it distributes the airflow evenly throughout the room. We installed this window fan in a fairly small room to get better circulation but in all honesty I prefer just keeping the window open. I feel it targets specific areas but some don't get any air circulation at all.
Nice product

Vornado
Vornado's origins trace back to the 1940s, born from the innovative minds of aeronautics engineer Ralph Odor and aircraft parts fabricator O.A. Sutton. The duo embarked on a journey to revolutionize the fan industry, leveraging Odor’s patented Power Vortex technology. This collaboration combined advanced aerodynamic engineering, similar to that used in aircraft design, to develop a fan that created a swirling airstream. This innovation significantly enhanced air circulation efficiency compared to the floor fan designs available at the time, marking the birth of a modern classic in the fan industry.
