Tono Floor Lamp

I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this light. I was surprised and disappointed both. What I like about this lamp: the style, different colors available, ease of installation, portability, design. What I'm not crazy about: amount of light so that the lamp isn't blinding you (the white, even dimmed, seems like a big strip of light), difficulty in seeing the control panel on the top, and what it takes to select a color. Right now I have it on a single color either facing the wall or out into the room. It does cast a nice shade on the room depending on color selected. I don't think I could read by it given placement and amount of light required without it being blazing. It is a pretty cool lamp though a little on the expensive side given that it isn't really lighting my room.

Husband wanted more light in living room. I don't like overhead light or light in my eyes. This lamp sits behind/beside my chair so it isn't in my eyes, but it illuminates the room softly -when dimmed. The colors are so fun, more for a party though than everyday use. I LOVE the dimming feature. I also love the ability to choose one color and pause it. When it is off, it is unnoticeable in room. We have it sitting in front of floor to ceiling windows in living room with the balcony just outside. I can swivel the lamp so that it faces the balcony for lighting out there. Again, great for parties.

Love the different lights. Hope they last long and are replaceable.

I gave this light 4 stars because overall it was exactly what I expected. It is unique and provides nice colors as described. I was slightly disappointed in top "switch" which controls the light...it is simply attached with two sided tape or glue?? Not sure exactly which but was not the quality expected for the price of this light.

We got this for the bedroom and it really is nice for chilling out just before sleep. I'm going to get another for the den. It is expensive.
