Beautiful light. I went for a table-clamp option to save space (flat base is fairly large). I prefer this lamp over the LED model because I can adjust color temperature by swapping bulbs. The dimmer feature that only coms with LED is futile for me. Overall, I'm very pleased
Beautiful iconic lamp

The tolomeo lamp is beautiful, however the mini size is huge! Definitely a misnomer so be careful with size. Works well and provides very bright light. hopefully it lasts. My last tolomeo micro broke after a year… one of the joints just broke off while trying to adjust the lamp.
Mini is Large
Verified Buyer
I love the beautiful design of the Tolomeo but despite the name ("Mini") and having noted the dimensions, it is still quite large when seen in person. It's good if you have a large desk (mine is 60" and it still seem large). I also wish you can adjust the light position with one hand by moving the metal wire at the light as I find that I still need to adjust the arms when adjusting. One last thing is that there are a couple of large labels on the bottom arm that I wish are on the bottom of the base.
Beautiful!!!!

The lamp is well made and highly functional (great flex points and easy to adjust), but...best of all...it's sexy!!! While the price may appear to be high - it's worth it if you get exactly what you want.
The Tuxedo of Desk Lamps

It functions precisely as I had hoped. It bends down and swivels to shine a little light right where I need it. But when I don't need it, I can push it up and away without any bother. The black on chrome only enhances the sharp, classic styling.
Artemide
Artemide takes its name from Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon—a reflection of the brand’s ethos in creating fixtures that deliver an elegant, ethereal glow. Founded in Milan in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, Artemide has been a driving force in Italian modern design.
