I'm enjoying the simplicity and timeless design of my tolomeo mini. Using it as a drafting light. Only issue I had was when installed on an angle the friction on the base mount needed to be increased by adding and O ring to the top and a bolt thru the bottom so I could tighten it up enough to hold the arm in place over my work surface.

I like the solid weighted base but don't love the overall design of the lamp - it's an ugly, industrial little thing, with the wire pulleys and chrome, and lightweight aluminum shade and arms that feel cheap. Returned.
