We have two Tolomeo wall lamps that we aren't currently using and two Tolomeo floor lamps that we are. They provide good focused area lighting and are easy to move around. They got to us quickly and we're well packaged. They look good in the den where we spend a lot of time either reading or watching TV.

I am an architect and have used them numerous times. I have one in my own house. There really isn't another floor lamp you can compare to it.

I loved the design very much... But I don't recommend it. The neck part is easily broken, so I have sent emails to Artemide. But they never answer how to fix it.

I purchased this lamp for my employer. He is 90 years old and loves to sit in his library and read. His eyesight is poor, so he needs strong illumination on the pages. A year ago I bought this model as wall lamps for either side of his bed and he loved how easily they move and position over his reading - the articulation is great. So when it came time for a new floor lamp in his study, we bought another Tolomeo. The first one that arrived did not work, but Y-Lighting immediately replaced it. In the black finish it recedes and has a clean simple look. He is delighted that he can now read in his library as easily as in his bed.
