Designed in 1989 by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto, the Luceplan Titania is an iconic design piece that serves as both artistic structure and functional lighting fixture. Its unique aluminum composition creates visual drama as the fixture appears transparent when seen from straight on and solid when viewed from the side. I saw this Item while surfing this website. I bookmarked it and eventually purchased it. It arrived on time and the packaging was excellent. The instructions were clear and I had it up in about 10 minutes. The only draw back is that it requires a special halogen bulb that few stores carry. There should have been a prompt at the checkout for lightbulbs. I finally got the light bulbthree days later - I reccomend the full 250Watt bulb for full effect. All I can say is WOW. It is a show piece that will get lots of positive comments.
