The Timberline Table Lamp from GUBI features a wooden arm that arcs over a cast-iron base to suspend a pleated canvas shade, giving it an organic, sculptural quality uncommon in table lighting. Designed by Mads Caprani in the 1970s, the cord is inset into the body to keep the form uncluttered, and the natural material combination of wood, canvas, and cast iron gives the lamp a warmth and honesty that has kept it relevant well beyond its original decade.
