The Artek Table 83 is a contemporary piece originally designed by Alvar Aalto in 1935. Its design was inspired, at least in part, by the structural soundness and tremendous success of the Stool 60. As such, the table has Aalto's signature bent solid birch legs. Atop these cleanly geometric structures sits a lengthy birch veneer top, which is capable of accommodating up to 8 people.
