Swan LED Wall Sconce

Just like its namesake, the Swan LED Wall Sconce from Nemo touches down in front of the eyes with grace, both in stillness and in motion. Coming from a designer whose work centers on dynamism, it's no wonder why creator Bernhard Osann drew inspiration from the beautiful waterfowl. Here, Osann creates a dynamic visual by using only essential shapes. A cylindrical counterbalance anchors the piece with a refined leather wrap. A fine cord passes through a pulley system and holds up a slender aluminum arm to suggest a swan's majestic silhouette. The pulley gives the arm 40° of vertical adjustability while the swivel lets the arm rotate a full 180°. Adding to the sconce's dynamic functionality, a cylindrical head perches at the end with an angle-adjustable neck. Fitted with LEDs and a glare-reducing honeycomb diffuser, the head looks over one's room to deliver an elegant task glow.
