Two of these flank the large window in my LR. They look modern but coordinate perfectly with the Craftsman style of the house (hardwood floors, unpainted wood trim, earth-tone paints,...). Per the specs, they don't put out a lot of light, but I felt the one with the downlight might look too much like a flashlight, so selected the uplight-only option, and will add a floor lamp. My only complaint is that the description is not accurate. It references a "rounded parachute-style frosted glass shade," but the shade is actually plastic. Looks fine, and it's nice it's not as breakable, but the fixture isn't as high end as I was expecting given the price.
