Very difficult to install. Especially without scraping and marring the paint behind the fixture. Definitely don't DIY and don't ask a professional to do it unless you have a strong dislike for that person. We often encounter lighting fixtures that were obviously designed by someone who never had to install one themself. But this is about the worst eve seen.
