The Smash Side Table from Tom Dixon sets a geometric terrazzo-style top above slim cast aluminum legs for a compact, grounded profile. Its bold material story suits contemporary and eclectic interiors alike. Mixed marble fragments in green tones sit within BPA-free resin, creating varied stone markings beneath a honed matte finish. Powder-coated aluminum supports the heavy tabletop without adding bulk. Natural differences in veining and color make every table distinct, and it stands out well beside a sofa, lounge chair, or bed for drinks, books, or small objects.

Tom Dixon

Tom Dixon was founded in 2002 with a lofty goal: to revive the British furniture industry. Even as it was founded, the company already had a sort of rebellious, inventive reputation based on the preceding career of the man himself. Dixon, a self-taught designer and welder first burst onto the scene in 1987 with his S-chair for Cappellini.
