Skan LED Pendant

I could not love these pendants more. We replaced three pendants over our kitchen island with three skan small pendants - our kitchen is traditional but with mixed materials (carrara marble, wood, soapstone countertops) and these fixtures changed the traditional feel to a completely updated yet not 'too cool' kitchen. THey have such a low profile - they hang at eye level for my husband but they almost disappear. Everyone who walks in admires these lights. I highly recommend these fixtures. Beware the large is MUCH bigger than the small.

My husband is an architect and he was the one who saw it and really liked the clean, elegant design, and I agreed, it's beautiful. We needed a fixed LED to be California-code compliant for our kitchen reno. This pendant is great for our eat-in kitchen because it establishes (and lights) the small table space without being too distracting. It's a very bright, diffuse light and dims very smoothly. The only thing is (and my electrician confirmed we used the right dimmer and driver), it flickered a bit the first time we used it, but it's smoothed out since. Apparently, it's common for LEDs to flicker when dimmed.

The two I have in black over a long steel desk… the light is good and gentle … gives the whole room a playful and beautiful sense.
