Using over our Dining Room table. Not too bright. It can be dimmed depending on mood. This is the 31 inch diameter size that pairs well with our 52 inch square table. Light shines both up towards ceiling and down onto table. Impressed by quality. Installation was easy. Height / Level adjustment was very easy to do. Love the sophisticated look, yet very simple design.
