Easy to install

The fan is attractive, has a modern feel & works as designed. Unfortunately, my experience with Lumens' customer service was disappointing. After the fan was installed, I realized it wasn't right for my outdoor area. It is a covered open-air patio, & the airflow wasn't what I expected for that type of space. I live in Florida & this is important. I contacted customer service immediately after hoping to exchange it for a larger model w/different blades that would better suit my patio. But because it was installed, I was told there were no exceptions to the return policy. I was upfront that the fan had been installed as I expected the company to work with me on an exchange. I understand that companies need return policies, but ceiling fans are difficult to evaluate until installed. I wasn't asking for a refund, I wanted to exchange for another model. My advice to anyone purchasing from Lumens is to be absolutely certain before installing any fixture, bc even if it's not the right fit for your space, don't expect any flexibility from customer service.

The fan arrived swiftly and was well packaged and in great condition. Installation was done by our electrician--he had no issues and it was a swift process. It works perfectly--the remote is super easy to use and the fan is virtually silent. I purchased the all white one. It looks elegant in our family room--disappears into our white pained ceiling, which is what we wanted. #sweepstakes
