The pure geometry of the Kartell Max Beam Side Table is enhanced by the simultaneous thickness and transparency of the PMMA plastic used to make it. It is simple and monolithic, an airy yet sturdy table ideal next to the sofa or bed. And when you need extra seating, the strength of the plastic also makes Max Beam useful as a stool.

Comments about Max Beam Side Table

This table is an excellent accent piece. The only flaw I noticed is that it came with several scratches. #sweepstakes.

Appreciate the sales YLighting occasionally runs on items that are almost never on sale. I've been looking at this stool, which also works well as a side table, for years now. Something modern that is size-conscious and fits perfectly in my tiny studio apartment in the city. Beautiful amber color that's almost gives a mirror effect.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Kartell

Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
