Key Features

Made in China
Noir’s Shibumi Bench embodies an impressionistic blend of rustic modern and contemporary design, meticulously hand-hewn from Munggur wood. With an Eastern aesthetic and natural finish, this bench effortlessly merges tradition with contemporary living. Fissures and cracks embody its aging and construction process, enhancing its character. Contrasting a gracefully curved bench seat with two angular, pillar-style bases, it creates a sublime visual juxtaposition that brings the vibrant, raw beauty of Munggur wood to life in a lasting artistic appeal.

Noir

Noir is an American furniture and lighting design company based in Gardena, CA. Founded in 2004 by Swiss native and designer Georg Bahler and Stephanie Lu, Noir produces Bahler’s designs. Each piece is hand-crafted and inspired by his European upbringing, art and furniture history, music, fashion, popular culture and mother nature. Noir’s hallmarks include the use of raw materials and solid woods when possible, atypical materials, and experimentation to create uncommon and unapologetically bold designs from the mind of Georg Bahler.
