The Seville Chandelier from Palecek uses abaca rope that has been finely woven and hand-wrapped around a powder-coated metal framework. The rope work creates textural patterns across the fixture's surface while maintaining structural integrity through the internal metal support. This rope wrapping technique produces a substantial fixture with varied surface textures that filter light through the woven material. The abaca rope adds warmth and organic character to dining spaces or living areas where textural interest is essential to the design scheme.
