Made in China

The Severn Floor Lamp from Currey & Company pairs a thin, arcing stem with a long cylindrical shade in smoked iridescent glass. The curve of the metal echoes the rounded form of the shade, creating a visual relationship between the two elements. Interior ribbing along the glass creates textural patterns when lit, adding an interesting textural quality to the light. An oil-rubbed bronze base anchors the composition, its dark finish complementing the smoky tones of the glass above and grounding the lamp's otherwise airy presence.
