Pieces like Currey & Company’s Serpentina Chandelier mix a simple suspension with a more detailed frame to help you appreciate its balance and engineering. A fine chain drops a wavy ring of wrought-iron from three thin but strong aircraft cables and conical torch sockets that echo the canopy each hold lamping in the open. The Serpentia’s simple shape meshes with any styles ranging from the traditional to the transitional or contemporary, shining brightly from above.
