The Seacliff Linear Suspension from Maxim Lighting brings a breezy, transitional touch to interiors. Coastal in character, its twin rope-wrapped support rods and subtle metal accents support inner lamping surrounded by large oval, off-white linen shades. These slender shades sandwich a protruding central band of vertical cotton strands. The open base allows ample downlight, while the translucent center shade diffuses inner light to the sides with a soft, organic glow, creating a balanced blend of intricate, natural texture and refined design elements.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
