Great eco-friendly design but limited light output

I love the design and the fact that the product uses recycled cardboard. However, using a standard lightbulb it emits very limited light. This is great as a decoration or statement piece, but from what can be gathered provides very limited light output in a 12x14' room as a ceiling light. The cardboard blocks most of the light output.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
