Failed quickly with no usage

Failed a few months after installation. The house wiring is brand new. The light was unused after installation. The failure mode is that the light comes on by itself and is not able to be shut off. Multiple lights failed the same way.

This is well built, and it was straightforward to convert it to a hardwired configuration. I installed it in Drywall And I had to cut a much bigger hole in order to install blocking so that the fixture could be secured where I needed it. It was involved and required some carpentry skills, and And I had a professional drywall person patch the hole. I'm happy with it But I'm worried that it will be very difficult to replace if the light fixture fails. I had to put a lot of faith into WAC That the fixture is quality. I would think twice about installing this in drywall again. It was quite involved and required professional help.
