The Scalloped Floor Lamp from Nova of California is defined by an elegant wooden form that flares gently into a tall cone as it rises, finished with a tailored linen shade shaped in soft scallops. Designed by Peter Morelli in 1962, the lamp captures a refined mid-century sensibility grounded in lasting quality. Rich walnut tones are complemented by brass-accented steel details, lending warmth and rich rustic appeal. Its contract-grade construction provides quiet durability, while the slim profile suits relaxed living areas, bedrooms, or more formal interiors where sustainability, subtle character, and craftsmanship matter.

Nova of California

Founded in 1923 by three brothers, Nova of California is one of the oldest lighting companies in North America. After thriving through the depression years, the company continued to grow, driven by its mission of bringing warmth and comfort to all homes. By the 1960s, the brand was producing pieces that are now considered classics. Today, innovative Nova of California mirrors update home interiors through the use of LED lighting, smart technology and interactivity.
