Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1946. The Saarinen Executive Chair with Wood Legs from Knoll has a fluid shape with a timeless quality, allowing it to complement a broad range of established decors. Eero Saarinen wanted to create a chair that provided comfort through the shape of its shell instead of the thickness of its cushions, and this resulting chair has helped shape how people view executive seating. The shell is made out of molded, reinforced polyurethane, and the seat is made out of contoured plywood.

I ordered a set of 8 for my dining room. Fabric is very resilient, chairs are light and elegant. I spoke with Customer Service during the ordering process and my rep was very personable, knowledgable and helpful. Ordering during the Knoll sale period (twice a year) offers substantial savings. I have ordered from YLiving and YLighting in the past and will use these sites again.
