Would not use outdoors. The bottom is sort of a soft material that could scratch up quickly. The "outdoor" fabric gets wet and doesn't dry out quickly, unlike a Sunbrella, for example. The boucle fabric doesn't look fine enough to put in an indoor environment - kind of has a shaggy wet dog look to it. Sent back, unfortunately.
