Works great with the lighting control in the theater.
Perfect for LED lights
I use this to power LED strip lights. Being AC, there's a bit of flicker which most people can't detect. It allows me to use a dimming switch and fits nicely inside any switch enclosure or junction box. the wires coming out are then low voltage and (at least in my area) can be run on tiny concealable wires without conduit.
