Nice but way too bright for a picture light

hinkleylighting.comPurchased three of the lights and they were very well made, easy to install and match the photos well for design and look. One thing that doesn't make sense is the the brightness. The LED's, which don't appear to be changeable are way too bright for the designed use as a picture light. Yes, they claim to be dimmable, however, they don't play well in older homes with old style push button switches. Ideally, the lights should have a brightness selector switch installed to allow for more ambient and appropriate lighting for a picture lamp.
