Reflex Wall Sconce

I purchased this one month ago and I am so happy I did. The style and look is what the space needed. The fixture is quality constructed. Thank you Lumens!!!

This fixture has an industrial feel. If that is your style, this is your fixture. It works well for us in a fairly modern house, with hardwood floors and white walls. Up/down lighting adds interest to otherwise featureless white walls. Consider two things when evaluating this fixture for your use, mounting height and desired brightness. As shown in the photo, our electrical box is at lower thigh level and we are using both upper and lower diffuser plates. The diffuser plates, shown close-up in the other photo, are perforated metal whose thickness is on the order of the hole radius, which I estimate reduces output light level 75%. If we wanted more down light, we could increase that by a factor of ~4 by not using the lower diffuser plate. However, the room is small, so the fixture works perfectly with both diffuser plates, as background light when we view an LCD display, which is across the room in the direction the photo is taken from, with light not falling directly on its screen. Blacks on LCDs do not appear sufficiently black if the room is kept so dark that viewers' eyes completely dark adapt. At our mounting height, we need the upper diffuser to keep from directly viewing the uncomfortably bright lamp directly as we walk by. The metal thickness in the diffuser is important to achieve that for us. If your application uses an electrical box at eye level you have several options depending on how much light you want and where you want it. Overall, the fixture seems well designed and fits in austere modern decor. A few installation considerations: If you want the fixture back to be flush with the wall, your electrical box needs to be recessed relative to your wall surface more than ours was. The small gap between the back of the fixture and our wall is tolerable. The fixture is surprisingly heavy. I found it important to have a support to hold it while I connected the wires. The wire nuts supplied were too small for reliable connection to our 1990 vintage wiring.

The quality was much better than I expected and it went together well, a bit tricky but not too difficult.

Everything is fine, but the page could make it clearer that you need to purchase the bulbs separately. What does "integrated LED bulb" mean if the bulb or bulbs are not included?

These sconces are perfect for my living room application. The brass finish is beautiful--a subtle brass--not too yellow.
