Random II Pendant Light

I placed the Random Moooi Pendant in my foyer as a statement piece. Everyone loves it! I always receive compliments.

We bought two Non random lights from Moooi in black. Heads up, the canopy, i.e., the part that goes onto the ceiling is shiny chrome (think bathroom fixtures). It was rather disappointing since we have written confirmation from Lumens that the black pendant will have a black canopy. No point in arguing with Lumens as they were probably given bad information from the manufacturer. For a $$$ pendant, we thought the color scheme would have been better thought out. Luckily, our experienced electrician was able to rig the units. We had to go to our local plastic place and custom made two 7.5" black acrylic rounds with a 0.5" hole in the middle for the cord to come thru. 1/8" inch thick. Then we had to take one of the chrome pieces to the electroplating shop and had it changed to black nickel finish. All this so the parts that are affixed to the ceiling are ideal. The lamps themselves are stunning, just didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. Also, it was a conversion from a recessed light to a pendant for us.

Simple yet incredibly stylish and elegant. I bought 2 of these lamps for my living room ( one big, one small). Gives the room a beautiful warm glow. I just love it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique contemporary statement

I wanted something exciting and contemporary for my 8 by 7 foot entryway and the small random light in white is just perfect. I was concerned that the 60 Watt maximum would not be bright enough, but as it turns out, I like the 40 watt globe bulb better. There is enough light for an entryway and it has an ethereal look, as if it is floating in the air. I just keeping staring at it. Service was excellent and it came in perfect condition.

It is worth the price! The fixture completely changed my entire room.....it is much larger than it appears, glad I went with the small
