QB LED Wall Sconce

We got two of these to put at the top of a 6' spiral stairs opening, one each on opposite walls, facing down the stairs. They work very well for this purpose. We got the black and they are on a white wall. When lit, the light creates an angled light stream which is very striking and attractive. Even in some daylight, this effect can be seen. Our electrician installed them; they seemed pretty straight forward to install and don't have a power box to deal with like some LED fixtures. The only detraction is the white plastic diffuser that (I presume) directs the light is not the best look. a glass lens would have looked better than a plastic one. It doesn't matter too much in our location as you tend not to look up into the fixture. These illuminate the stairs perfectly--not too bright. I think they would work well in a hallway wall, spaced 4'-6' apart, giving you enough light. The best part is the light effect on the wall and I would use these again in a heartbeat where I wanted a not too bright wall light.

The size and shape are just right and the amount of light thrown both up and down is excellent. I would have preferred a slightly textured finish (think hammered metal) but smooth is the only option. I have the pair above my sofa opposite the TV and they don't throw any light or reflection onto the TV, which is exactly what I wanted. They work beautifully on the dimmer to go from adequate overall lighting to ambient lighting.

I love using wall sconces and fell in love with the QB LED wall sconces' simple design as shown by Y Lighting.com so I bought a pair in black for our foyer. In the middle of our ongoing renovation project, I decided to have them installed in the sitting area instead as it is a larger space with not enough light at night. I had them installed with a dimmer (I got the dimmable kind!) on either side of our very wide windows. They look stunning when lit, and unobtrusive when turned off. When the light is intensified by said dimmer they throw out a warm light almost like a halogen or incandescent lamp does. When dimmer is on the first half of intensity or so the light is cool like fluorescent.

We love this light. It is perfect for the spot on the wall where the stairs are in our home. We envisioned something that would shine light up and down on the wall. This is the perfect fixture for that. We love simple but elegant fixtures. This is one of them.

We ordered two for the living room and two for the family room. They were easy to install, great quality and turned out better than expected. Make sure to have the dimming feature included for a nice added touch.
