A pioneer of modern architecture. The Projecteur Wall Sconce / Table Lamp from Nemo was designed by the design icon Le Corbusier for the Chandigarh High Court of India in 1954. Created as a solution to everyday problems, this product is focused on functionality. This wall / table lamp highlights Le Corbusier’s love of pure form, and it features a charming shade and distinct shapes. Metal screws tighten the diffuser to the adjustable joint, and they also give the product a stylish quality.
Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and 70s. Nemo acquired ItalianaLuce five years later, offering a line of clean, relaxed modern lighting that provided an informal counterpoint to the vintage mid-century authenticity found in Nemos modernist line of Franco Albini-designed lighting.
