lampsplus.com/We purchased two of these for two dining room pictures on either side of our china cabinet. We had outlets behind the pictures controlled by a wall switch, and, after being sure to set the lamp switch to the highest output setting, cut the 8' cord on this down to maybe 2'. Very pleased with the result. We could have used the "direct attach" lights, but they were 3 times as expensive so chose these and made them work.
