Prado Bed

The Prado Bed from Bernhardt combines exposed wood framing with inset upholstered panels, establishing definition through material pairing. This approach draws from midcentury design principles where hard and soft elements work in tandem rather than compete for attention. The headboard and footboard feature wood surrounds that hold fabric panels, while matching side rails connect these components around the sleeping platform. Constructed with five wood slats and adjustable double center support legs, the bed provides a stable mattress foundation while maintaining visual clarity in how each material contributes to the overall structure.
