The PostKrisi LED Multi-Light Pendant from Catellani & Smith examines the versatility and strength of fiberglass with rich, feather-light domes. The pendant illustrates designer Catellani & Smith’s aim of giving shape to light. The pendant hangs from a circular canopy evocative of a portal. Ultra-fine wire streams down from the canopy that suspends the pendant while enhancing the overall floating effect. Sleek metal rods follow below with a shiny note. Artisan slot hand-shaped and molded fiberglass domes inside the rods as a separated composition for enhanced drama. The united globe shape of the domes translates to a soft ambient aura of textured light when turned on.
