Brass Modern Outdoor Post Lights

Modern Post Lights

Modern post lights provide welcoming illumination in decorated designs to match your home's architecture, creating an element of safety while accenting patios, walkways, driveways and gardens. It's beneficial to place column lights and modern lamp post lights near pathways for added safety and to guide you and your guests to the front door late at night. Once your lighting leads company to the front door, consider porch lights to properly welcome them. You'll also find that an alignment of driveway lighting will help safely guide your vehicle into the garage.

Additionally, you may be interested in path lights. Although relatively shorter and smaller than the typical modern post light, path lights can serve the same safety-oriented purpose in driveways, gardens and landscapes. Further, outdoor lamp options can be used on stone walls and a patio post light can identify sections of the backyard to highlight borders in the landscaping. When paired with other landscape light fixtures, such as LEDs, the right light post can find its way into creating a well-rounded exterior lighting scheme.

Things to Consider

With any outdoor light fixture, the presence of water and other elements is inevitable, so you'll need to verify that the modern post light is UL rated for damp or wet locations. You will also want to take into consideration important sizing information like the height and width of the post light. Knowing these dimensions will make installing a fixture in your landscape easy. Finally, look to the fixture's bulb requirement so you are prepared with the right light bulb.
