The Pompeii Linear Suspension from Maxim Lighting positions natural stone into a horizontal form, arranging cylindrical elements in a composition that honors geological history. Each carved stone tube displays unique variations that tell the story of its formation, while wooden joints connect these elements with thoughtful transitions between materials that complement rather than compete. This pendant transforms dining tables and kitchen islands into natural gathering spaces with its dimmable design that easily adapts to everything from casual family breakfasts to evening entertainment gatherings.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
