Key Features

Made in China
Sit back and let yourself be embraced by the tight yet cozy design of the Podium Armless Chair from Gus Modern. In a modern or contemporary styled room, this piece feels right at home, borrowing its refined yet sophisticated aesthetic from the modernist movement of the 70s. The refined character gives the piece a timeless feel while maximizing comfort. To define the chair’s sense of shape, a solid kiln-dried hardwood frame produces an L-shape with a wedged back support. This shapely foundation is softened up by the soothing feel of durable and dense foam. To wrap things up, a woven fabric is applied to the piece, showing seductive looks and feel in its fine upholstery. The chair works elegantly as a standalone or with other pieces in the Podium line, thanks to a concealed buckle connector.

Gus Modern

Based in Toronto, Canada, Gus Modern was founded in 2000 as a designer and maker of modern upholstered seating and accessories. Inspired by the mid-century modern design aesthetic, their goal from the very beginning has been, as they put it, to "create modern furniture that combines great design with practical purpose."
