Best of both worlds. The Planes Round Glass Top Coffee Table is part sculptural art form and part versatile work surface. Two uniquely shaped planes form a unique intersection below a round Glass top. Sustainably made and crafted to last, the design features a solid Hardwood base with a clear hand-applied Lacquer finish chosen for its low maintenance durability and eco-friendly low emissions. The clear Tempered Glass top creates the illusion of space and opens the view to the sculptural base. From every angle the beauty and natural variations of the Wood show through making this a showpiece in a grand foyer, business vestibule or stylish living room.

Fabulous design that doesn't overwhelm but makes a statement at the same time. Would have given it a five but the plane that required attachment had a damaged screw. Subsequently, the piece may not be sturdy and may separate from the base. I can think of different fixes for this problem.. maybe wood glue, but time and usage will tell. It took a long time to get the item so I'm sticking with the damage. Here's hoping!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Copeland Furniture

In the early '70s, Tim Copeland began making hardwood cider presses in his garage in East Corinth, Vermont. By 1976, cider presses had given way to butcher block and Adirondack furniture, and Copeland's garage became too small. So Copeland Furniture moved into a manufacturing facility in Bradford, Vermont, for the exclusive production of furniture made out of solid natural hardwood.
