Designed with form and function in mind, the Piton Adjustable Height Stool by Knoll features a cone-shaped base formed by tripod legs and connected by two concentric rings. The base is die-cast in aluminum with stainless steel fasteners and includes a seat with stainless steel threaded rod for easy height adjustments. The design of the base ensures equal weight distribution to counteract the tendency of the stool's three-legs to wobble on uneven flooring.
