Color is beautiful; std chandelier bulbs show
First, the good news…the distressed reddish gold finish is stunning and the fixture was well packed. Less good…I wanted a very large fixture to make a statement; the fixture is more airy that I expected, so is not as prominent as I would like. Not good…The bulbs show and are glaring even with a dimmer. (I will try to find specialty bulbs that look better.) The "dish" on the bottom of the fixture should be larger to hide the bulbs. And, the canopy plate is smaller than most fixtures, so just be aware that you may have to touch up/match the ceiling finish. Also, keep in mind that the light is up and out; this fixture does not cast light down. It also creates a light/shadow pattern on the wall when lit.
