Well constructed, but there is a surprise
This lamp is exactly what I was looking for... simple and sleek and it emits very nice light for reading. However, I was surprised to see that the on/ off sensory dimmer switch glows an amber/yellow color when the light is off. This light-up switch is rather large and it is distracting when all the lights in the room are off. If the light is placed next to a chair, then the glowing dimmer switch is right at eye level. I wish this feature would have been included in the description! Unfortunately, I do not think I can keep this lamp.
