The Oyster 1515 Pendant from Accord Lighting stretches a shallow, almond-shaped shell from a straight stem, with tapered ends that create an elongated outline. Produced in Brazil, the shade is formed from wood veneer and MDF and dips gently at each tip, so the grain follows its long, sweeping line. Beneath it, a glass globe hangs at the center, partly shielded by the rim, which directs the glow softly downward onto the space below.
