Lovely looking design, but it is a 150 Watt lamp, which I purchased to get the full wattage for our space. The globe is too shallow to accommodate a standard 150 Watt bulb, so I had to find a special, shorter bulb for this lamp. I was able to find a halogen bulb to work with it, which did not extend out of the top of the globe.
