Great Value
These inexpensive lights solved a big problem. We have a territorial house in rural desert with dark sky requirements. Outside the garage we need light and need to be able to adjust where the light shines. These are basic fixtures but they give off great light and we can adjust them in/out with a knob and left/right (although that has to be done with the light off the wall). The bulbs can be hidden inside the light shades with a flat bottom led bulb or an appliance bulb. Easy to install and on a garage they look elegant, very utilitarian.
Great color, solid construction
After looking through a number of similar lights and reading about people receiving products with colors different than they'd expected I didn't really know what I was going to get... but this light in tawny bronze turned out great. The construction is very solid, and the bronze is a deep, dark tone that matches the exterior of my home quite well. Glad I purchased.
Maxim Lighting
Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
