First off, I had really high hopes for this lamp, but those hopes quickly deminished. The lamp base (which is a plastic cover by the way) arrived with scratches on it. This instantly made the lamp look very cheap to me. Second, the plastic rods were warped, along with the LED lighting being uneven, making some of the rods look white & some yellowish...again, all these things just made the lamp come off as extremely cheap. I expected much better from Artemide. On the flip-side, ylighting was great in dealing with this order. Five stars for ylighting service, zero stars for the "Reeds" lamp. Maybe my expectations were too high, but still, I definitely would not recommend this product.
