The Brasilia Ottoman from Audo Copenhagen, formerly known as Menu is soft, slim, and sturdy for easy-going living. Take Scandinavian mid-century design’s refined character and pair it with the impressive lines of Brazilian Modernism, and you get the low-profile yet punchy design of this Anderssen & Voll piece. It represents the studio’s mission of expanding tradition while breaking it at the same time. The ottoman has a tidy, solid wood base with delightful grain marks, popping against the upholstery with warm organic hues. The upholstered cushion on top adds character and comfort as a rounded-edged form. The cushion adds plenty of support to one’s feet using cold cured foam.
