OSCR37 Oscillating Tower Fan with Remote

I bought this over the summer and went to use it tonight because my classroom doesn't have air conditioning. It doesn't oscillate, there isn't even an option in the troubleshooting section of the instructions to deal with that. The force of the wind isn't as strong as I was anticipating, even after it running for a few minutes. Second week of school tomorrow and I will have to continue to melt! I wish I hadn't spent my money on this.

Bought the unit, less than 24 hours the unit was no longer working. Won't be buying any future products from this company if their build quality is this poor.

Just purchased for a small workout room to provide some air flow during the hot months. Easy to assemble. Plugged in doesn't do anything besides oscillate. No change when the speed is increased. Will return.

This is a terrific fan with a terrible base? When I first turned it on I loved it, then in about 30 seconds it started rattling. Not terribly, but it was annoying. I had noticed it wobbled in the base so I took the base off and the rattle was gone. I put some of those fuzzy stickers that you put in the bottom of furniture onto the base where the bottom of the fan sits. The screws still fit and it's much more snug now. I also put some fuzzies on the rubber feet of the base and no more rattling! Once I decided to keep it I removed that hideous chrome thing. Is that supposed to add support? It doesn't do anything. Now I love this fan!

So happy that this fan keeps the bedroom cool and doesn't just push warm air around. It's also quiet enough to be able to sleep with it on
