The Opyo Mini Pendant from Kundalini is a pop of charm and sophistication in the room, inspired by the soft features of the poppy seed pod. It’s a piece by Cristina Celestino, a self-described “objects investigator” whose work is based on observation and research. This pendant combines the creator’s curious eye with her approach of blending design with art. The pendant hangs gracefully with a fine cord, leading one’s gaze to the sculptural shade. Each shade is mouthblown by glass masters for rich optics. Even with the lights off, the shade livens up the room with its plump shape and accenting petals at the base. The globe shade transforms into a surface of clean, diffused light. The lights radiate out to create a rich ambient glow, accenting downlight and a memorable silhouette.
